City Crafter Challenge 297 - Fantastic Plastic

This will be my last card created with the acrylic trading cards as a part of the City Crafter Challenge blog.  The challenge this week was to create a card using plastic - I chose acrylic.

On this card, I used green and silver alcohol ink applied to the backside with a Ink Blending Tool to create the mottled effect.  I then stamped the front of the trading card with Black Archival ink using a background stamp.  I once again went shopping in the ScrapBox and found some bits of lace and flowers that seem to work with my color scheme.  The patterned paper is adhered to a card base with a little Distress Ink on the edges to add depth.

If you haven't already, you should consider joining the fun over at the City Crafter Challenge Blog.  You have until Monday evening to join the fun.  The theme this week is Fantastic Plastic and the inspiration photo is:

  1. Loving the texture and great placement on this fantastic card.

  2. Beautiful card and love the circular paper clip! TFS

Thank you so much for your kind words. Isn't it fun to encourage one another, even from a distance?
