A Special Graduation Card Featuring Taylored Expressions Butterfly Wishes Stamps and Dies

Today is a momentous occasion.  My baby girl graduates with a BS degree and two minors from Northern Arizona University.  She has stayed focused and dedicated and was able to complete her degree in four years.  We're so proud of her and look forward to a Zoom virtual graduation party later today.  I could miss the opportunity to make a card.  She picked up her present earlier this month from the bookstore, so the only surprise from her parents is this pretty card made in her favorite color, pink.  The background and butterflies were made using my Taylored Expressions Butterfly Wishes stamps, stencils and dies from the April Card Kit.

I even embellished the envelope using my The Greetery Alphabuds stamps.  Congratulations, Katie Lynn.  We're so proud of you!

A Few Little Notecards for Mother's Day

I decided to get my Gina K Wreath Builder stamp and template set out to make these cute one-layer 3 x 3 notecards for Mother's Day.  These turned out so nicely that I wonder why I don't do more of with the wreath builder stamps and templates.

You might be wondering where all these Mother's Day cards are to be used.  I am still selling my cards at a local coffee and flower shop.  Hopefully, they will brighten someone's celebration.

Floral Spray for Mother's Day

I'm sharing a card inspired by Nicole Spohr's card from this video.  My card is slightly more simple and I used the Hero Arts Script Bold Prints background stamp for my background.  I am very pleased with how these cards turned out.  The sentiment is a Clearly Besotted sentiment.

All the flowers were colored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on Bristol cardstock.  I am really loving the pink and yellow mix.   This creates a depth of color that is fantastic.

Big Florals Mother's Day Cards

I took a stroll through the stash and came up with the idea to use some of the supplies from the stash.  Today, I'm sharing two cards made using my SSS Look for the Rainbows stamp set colored on Bristol paper with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  The background stamp is Hero Arts Script Bold background stamp.

Both cards are very striking and I'm so pleased with how these turned out.

Notecard Featuring The Greetery Robin Stamps and Dies

I was thinking of spring and my robins stamped using The Greetery Robin and Wren stamps and dies.  If I was going to make some spring inspired cards, this seemed like a good fit, so I paired my robin with a few pieces from the stash and voila!  I'm very pleased how this turned out.

Notecards with Spring Flowers

Keeping with a recent theme, I am putting together cards using supplies from the stash.  Today, I paired backgrounds made using The Greetery Shiplap dies and multiple other Greetery pieces to make a couple of notecards.  The Florals from this first card are from The Ton Floral Bits stamps and dies.  Very colorful!

I just love how delightful this little wren looks sitting on my sentiment.  So fun and definitely festive for the season.

Birthday Card Featuring Catherine Pooler Birthday Cake Remix Stamps and Dies

Brandy allowed me to share this delightful birthday card with you today.  She made the cake using Catherine Pooler Birthday Cake Remix stamps and dies.  The result is decidedly masculine and wonderfully celebratory.

More Mother's Day Cards Featuring Hero Arts Bouquet Accessories Dies

I had admired the Hero Arts Bouquet Accessories dies when they first released as a kit.  When they released these dies, I did have to buy them.  I used colored cardstock to die cut the florals and then colored (ever so lightly) with my new-to-me Copic markers.  The coloring is subtle, but the technique was new to me and fun.

So fun and I enjoyed the new technique.  More cards for Mother's Day in the bag.

Mini- Slim Notecard Featuring Altenew Morning Glory Dies

Brandy shared this card which she made with her Altenew Craft a Flower dies.  Today I get to share a new card made with the leftover pieces.  The mini-slim is a new format and Brandy is rockin' it!  I like them both, but I think this second one is quite lovely.

Happy Mother's Day - Using Up Items From the Stash

I found these layered rose stickers from the stash.  I believe they may have come through Brandy and were a part of one of her Spellbinders from a card kit.  They seemed to pair perfectly with this shiplap background that I made using The Greetery Shiplap Builder dies.  Simple, but an effective card.

Pretty Geometric Butterflies Card Set

Brandy shared with me this set of notecards made using a very geometric look and the silhouette die cut images.  This contrasting style created a beautiful result and was inspired by Amy from Prairie, Paper and Ink.  I really like this version - butterflies as so pretty!

Happy Mother's Day Featuring Acetate and Glitter Butterflies

These cards are more examples of how I shopped my own stash and found supplies to put together these Mother's Day cards.  The butterflies are pre-printed on acetate and then I used Art Glitter Glue - the Dries Clear and the used colored glitter.  The backgrounds are also from the stash and the gold accents leftover pieces from another project.

I've got a few cards for the stash now.  More to come.

Happy Mother's Day Cards Featuring Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms

I decided to begin making some Mother's Day cards and went to the stash to see what supplies I could find there.  In the end, I found these muted gold frames in the stash. I figured I should put them to good use. I also found these flowers, previously stamped and die cut using my Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms stamps and dies.

Two different orientations and two different cards.  I like them both and enjoyed using the supplies from the stash.

Many Thanks

I have the honor of sharing this beautiful card that Brandy made and sent me.  I can't decide what I enjoy most, the dark background with subtle scripty text, the white heat embossed stripes or the beautiful florals which have a fair amount of my favorite color - green.

This mini-slim card screams perfection and I have it out in my front room on display for anyone to see (not that we get lots of visitors!).  I am so grateful for your friendship, bestie!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!  I am hoping that your Celebration Sunday is filled with all the joy that we can find in our Risen Savior.  I'm sharing a set of cards that I made to send out to friends and family.  I used my The Greetery Caring Cross stamps and dies and my Shiplap Builder dies to create these simple and effective cards.
