Wishing You Peace

I actually made this card set a while ago.  The photos have sat unedited and unposted for a while.  It's getting close, so I'm sharing now.  I used several Papertrey Ink stamps using an example by Melissa Phillips.  These cards are even more delightful in person, but the inside is also a big part of my love for this card.

More cards for the Christmas stash.  So fun!

Sending Joy & Peace to You At Christmas - Early Christmas Card Sets

Today is a simple Christmas card.  Being that green is my favorite color, this is also one of my favorite that I've made.  The assortment of product used also makes me happy: Papertrey Ink Wet Paint - Christmas stamps and dies, Papertrey Ink Forest Floor stamp set, The Greetery With Love at Christmas stamp and die set and Taylored Expressions pine leaves die.

So simple and striking!

I used Distress Oxide inks to stamp the pine leaves in the background and add a little ink blended color to the stark white background.  I couldn't be more pleased how this turned out.

So much fun!  There are more cards coming!

Merry Christmas - A Wintery Christmas

We find ourselves having another year coming to a close and the great joy of celebrating our Savior's birth.  I'm sharing this card through a scheduled post as we are heading up to Christmas breakfast with my husband's family.  This is such a rich tradition, it makes me sentimental.  My SIL has hosted for the better part of all 26 years of my marriage.  She and her husband have both retired and they built a cabin in the woods in Northeastern Arizona.  I figured this card captured some of my melancholy and joy at their good fortune to enjoy Christmases in retirement where there is snow.

Hoping your Christmas celebrations (if you make them!) are joy filled and rich with love and laughter.

Merry Christmas!

A 70th Birthday Tea Party Invitation

I'm flying off to Washington D.C this week for work.  It's been a while since I traveled and it always surprises me how nervous I can get when it has been a while.  I decided to finish these invitations and this post as therapy.  I just love my Papertrey Ink stamps and this Tea for Two stamp and die set has been in the stash for quite a while.  This was one of the first stamp sets I purchased from them and I've used it often over the years.  Check it out herehere and here for some inspiration.

I decided to use the Papertrey Shape Shifters circle die and the Forest Floor Winter stamp set as accents along with my Concord and 9th Stitched Turnabout stamp.

On the inside, all the details about the party designed in Word and printed for easy application on the invitation.  I'm so pleased, I'm seeing pink!  Which is why I'm entering this card in Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday challenge Simon Says Think Pink.
