This post is coming a month late. I couldn't even tell you why it took so long to get these layouts photographed, edited and posted. It simply doesn't express the amount of joy and fun it was to attend Embellish It's Play All Day here in Mesa at the end of February. It doesn't look like there are any other days currently scheduled in 2016, but if they open up I'd highly recommend going.
This day is spent at the local convention center/hotel in a conference room at a table with about 4-6 other attendees. Shelby brings some of her kits for sale so that you can shop or simply scrap your own projects. These layouts were from the 2 "classes" that are held throughout the day. The class kits come with a double page layout that
is simple to complete and generates a wonderful finished product. This year I decided to scrap the photos I printed for my son's high school graduation party last year. The photos represent all school ages and I mixed them up, selecting the photos for the layout rather than so that the photos tell a story. Still, they tell the story, just in their own way.
The page on the right is a waterfall which allows for 8 different photos to be captured on that one page. Love it!
How about you? Any long needing to post photos just sitting around to be posted. Join me this week as I try to catch up. I've got other layouts from the day that need to be edited and posted. I'll string them out this week so you don't get bored.
Come on, join the fun and get something posted!
Don't feel bad about a month late, I still have incomplete pages for my year book album 2013 : (
