Party Supplies- A Handmade Set of Decorations

It is always a good day when I get to share with you a project made by Brandy.  Today, I'm sharing some party supplies handmade by Brandy for her aunt's milestone birthday.  I think she turned 30.... maybe...

Let's start with the cupcake toppers.  I believe these little butterflies were cut using the Cricut cart Paper Lace out of buttery yellow cardstock.  a toothpick was glued between the two butterflies creating the topper for the cupcakes.  Beautiful!

The cake topper was so delicate and adorable.  Little tiny flags out of grey and yellow paper and strung through on a piece of grey baker's twine.  Two wood skewers held the flags onto the cake.

Everything together for the party- fabulous and simple.  Decorating for a party doesn't have to be overwhelming, but it can be beautiful.

Each flag on the banner was cut from the coordinating grey and yellow cardstock with patterned paper thrown in for contrast.  A yellow satin ribbon holds it all together.  Say happy birthday to Brandy's aunt everyone!

Thank you so much for your kind words. Isn't it fun to encourage one another, even from a distance?
