Repeating the Floral Theme

So, I made the cards for my mom's birthday and so loved the design and colors I decided to give another try with a different color of MementorLuxe ink.  This time I stamped using my Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set and MementoLuxe Lilac Posies.  As I mentioned in the previous post, this ink did not go on smoothly, requiring several layers to get the rich and crisp colors that you see.  I, once again, used my MISTI stamping tool to achieve this look along with some masking paper.

These, too, will go in the stash and become a part of a gift to someone.  The Altenew stamp set is simply beautiful and really, takes little effort to look spectacular.  Even when you don't get it exactly right, the colors and the layers are forgiving and the result is stunning.

  2. What I love about these cards is the elegant touch. Very feminine but not too sweet and shabby. Love it!

  3. This is SO pretty, Andie. I always love seeing your sweet cards and creations. Hopefully, you're having a blessed and happy week. I really just wanted to say hello, and also to thank you for being such a sweet crafter and blogger. I saw a nice comment you left on another artists' blog welcoming her (so to speak) on behalf of Word Art Wednesday, and that was such an encouragement to my heart to see others reaching out to say hello in the name of my blog. It makes me feel good, like we're all one big team of artists sharing our art, and I just want you to know how much that meant to me to see your comment. Thank you for being an encouragement to someone in association with WAW. It made my heart so happy, and I hope that you have a very blessed week.
    Hugs,
    Karen

Thank you so much for your kind words. Isn't it fun to encourage one another, even from a distance?
