A Notecard Set Featuring The Greetery Bontaticuts Forget-me-nots Dies

This simple, but effective card set was totally inspired by The Greetery design team and is one of the key reasons I purchased the Botanticuts Forget-me-nots dies.  I die cut using the dies and then watercolored the die cuts and accented with my Polychromos pencils.  I paired the frame die cut using The Greetery Postage Stamp die with some patterned paper from the stash.  Oh my, these products delivered.

ETA:  The sentiment comes from Clearly Besotted Sweet Little Sentiments.

It is so hard to decide on a favorite, but I'd have to say the blue one is leading the pack.  Charming and lovely and fun to make.

Taylored Expressions Stamp Joy 2021

Brandy and I participated in Taylor Expressions Stamp Joy virtual event last weekend.  We were able to craft together and enjoy a tasty dinner on Friday night for the last session of the class.  These first cards are from that first session.

These next cards are all from the Saturday session.  We weren't able to participate in person together on Zoom, sharing the screen and watching the demonstrations.  The kits were easy to put together and the instructors were very helpful in their execution.

After the class, there were a few extra pieces left over.  I decided to put those pieces to good work and made a few extra cards.  I also repaired a couple of mistakes in the cards from the class.

All in all, a very fun weekend.  I just got the mess totally cleaned up today - everything away in it's place.  More goodies to play with and a pile of cards for the stash!

Converting Valentines to Notecards

I had put together this set of cards for Valentine's Day.  I didn't use all of the cards for Valentines and so I decided to convert them to notecards that I can use without the holiday sentiment.  I kept the sentiments from the Valentines and can replace next year if they are still in the stash.  For now, this makes this card set way more useful.

These cards were made using my Honey Bee Stamps Coffee Cup Card die set and a pack of patterned papers that I then mismatched the patterns to create the colorful cards.  I used the Concord and 9th Plaid background stamp to create accents on the sleeve and the sentiments/florals came from various stamp sets in the stash.  So pleased with how these were converted.

A Notecard Set Featuring Taylored Expressions Bursting Blooms Stamp Set

I stamped onto Taylored Expressions Toffee cardstock using the Taylored Expressions Bursting Blooms stamp.  After I colored each image with my Polychromos pencils, I stamped the image again to create crisp lines around the images.  I am so delighted how this set of cards turned out.

Such a fun set of cards to make!

Happy Birthday Featuring Altenew Craft a Flower Dies

Oh my!  Brandy has done it again with this delightful die cut floral card.  The background was die cut with a Tim Holtz Thinlets die and the florals are using Altenew Craft a Flower dies.  I love the color combination and the glittery butterfly.

May Hope Fill Your Heart Today - A Set of Notecards

I mentioned in a post earlier this week that I loved the new Taylored Expressions Field Notes 2 kit.  I decided to stamp and make some additional cards.  I used similar coloring with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush marker and Distress Oxides in the background.

 More cards for the stash...

Mini-Slim Birthday Cake Notecards

Brandy shared with me these delightful cards made featuring patterned paper and using the Spellbinders May 2019 Large Die of the Month.  I love how she played with color and texture to create these cards.

I especially like the soft colors, but all three are delightful.

A Set of Psalms Notecards

I am in love with both sets of Field Notes kits from Taylored Expressions.  I did pick up one of the Field Notes 2 sets and these cards were created using the stamps and pairing them with my Papertrey Ink Year of Psalms stamps.  I used my Zig CleanColor Real Brush markers to color the images and then some Distress Oxide ink in the background.

There's definitely some more of these cards in the future - the images are delightful and easy to color.  Stay tuned!

A Thankful Card Featuring Pretty Pink Posh Peonies Stamp and Stencil

Stopping in with a simple and effective thank you card using my new to me Pretty Pink Posh Peonies stencil and stamp.  All stamping and stenciling is in Distress Oxides and I am so pleased with the soft finish for this card.  Also, so glad I picked up the stencil and stamp combo.  Pretty and Pink and I think I also hit the posh note too!

Happy St. Patrick's Day - A Card Set Featuring Colorado Craft 4 Leaf Clover Stamp

I may have mentioned before that the Anita Jeram designed Colorado Craft Company stamps have a cute little hamster character that looks just like my daughter, Katie's, hamster Jasper.  He's tiny and adorable and so I couldn't resist making her a St. Patrick's Day card using this delightful image.  Green being my favorite color, St. Patrick's Day is definitely a win for me.  My husband is a Daniel Patrick and his Irish ancestor's give us much reason to celebrate.

These cards are already out in the mail.  The corned beef is a cooking and it will be potatoes, cabbage and carrots for dinner with the star of the show tonight.  Hope your celebrations are festive.

A Cardinal Notecard Featuring Tim Holtz Cardinal Dies

Brandy made and shared this card with me quite a while ago, but somehow I didn't edit and post the photo.  The card is too beautiful to not share so I am sharing now, though it is a bit out of season.  The cardinal was made using Tim Holtz Cardinal dies with a bit of ink blending to go along with it.  So stunning!  The pine branches were die cut from The Greetery Botanitcuts Pine Bough dies.  Simple and pretty, that's a delightful card!
