Floral Notecards

Since I have been traveling for work, my crafting time is such a premium.  I came across a set of previously stamped flowers using my Papertrey Ink Farmer's Market Florals stamp and die set.   I think they were stamped more than a year ago during some Valentine's Day makes for this post.  These poor blooms have sat in a plastic baggie waiting to be loved. 

I opted for a simple die cut background and a simple sentiment flag so that the blooms remain the focus of the card.

I had forgotten how very much I enjoyed this stamp set.  So delightful to stamp, forgiving and beautiful!  Just the right touch for a limited creative session.

Farmer's Market Valentine

Maybe you are all very excited to here that?  Either way, I have a combination of Papertrey Ink Farmer's Market Floral stamps and dies tucked behind the Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamp and die sets positioned over a Simon says Stamp This is the Life die cut frame.  I think this might be my favorite from this year's cards.

I'm going to enter this card into Papertrey Ink's Transformation Tuesday.  I made this card last year and decided to make a twist on that version this year.

Floral Valentine's Day Card

Quickly popping in to share this valentine card made creating a dry embossed frame using my WPlus9 Sunshine Layers die set on a pink cardstock card base inked with pink hink for effect.  The heart was die cut using my Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart die set stamped with my Papertrey Ink Farmer's Market Florals stamp set.

Such a lovely valentine card, don't you think?  I'm linking this up to SSS Monday challenge Love is in the Air and the Wednesday challenge Simon Says Anything Goes.

A Simple Housewarming Gift

A coworker had the benefit of moving into a new place.  I heard on short notice and decided to get a small housewarming gift.  An oversized mug, hand towel and matching wash rag seemed just right.  I used the mug colors for inspiration and created this tag to tie to the mug to let her know I was wishing her well.

The flowers were stamped using my Papertrey Ink Farmer's Market Florals stamp set and inks to match.  So much fun and a little cheer to brighten the new place.

Cards for a Card Swap

This weekend is officially Brandy and I celebrating a girls weekend.  We are at the Scrapbook Expo here in Mesa, Arizona.  This card is one I made twenty (20!) replicas for a card swap.  Both Brandy and I are going to participate and so I'll share Brandy's card next.

I used my Papertrey Ink Farmer's Market Florals stamp set to stamp the images and my Rustic Wreath stamp to stamp the wreath.  The burnished gold cardstock frame was cut using my WPlus9 Sunshine Layers die and the background of the card base stamped with Altenew's Rustic Linen background stamp.

On the inside, a simple thank you stamp which was the theme for the swap.  The card is an A2 size and I am delighted and cannot wait to participate in the swap later today.

Needless to say, us girls are currently prepping up for a long, exhausting, most fun-filled day of crafting, shopping, and girl talk as we are also participating in the crop which goes all day into the evening.

A Farmer's Market Floral Valentine

I have so loved playing with my Papertrey Ink Farmers Market Florals stamp set and combining it with the Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart die is a perfect marriage of love inspiration.  This collage contained in a heart was one of the inspirations for me to purchase the stamp set and I can tell you that stamping these out was simple, easy and results in a final image that is more stunning than these photos allow you to see. 

I super love this one combined with some seam binding ribbon.  The background kraft is die cut using my WPlus9 Sunshine Layers die, an oldie but a goodie!

On the inside is a valentine's sentiment from Papertrey Ink's January bonus stamp set.  I think I need to pull myself away from the valentine making into some other crafting.  I'm pretty sure I've crossed over into a slightly wacky excess. 

Be Mine Valentine

I'm checking in with another valentine that I decided to whip up.  In this case, I used some of the softer flowers that I stamped onto smooth, white cardstock using my Papertrey Ink Farmers Market Florals stamp and die set.  The inks are also all Papertrey Ink.  Any imperfections in the stamping are all mine - I was playing with a lighter color and thus, a less solid impression.  I also used the Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart die and the bonus stamp set from January's release.  They all combined to create a very soft, delicate and, I think, delightful valentine.

It is really amazing to think that we've made it to the end of January.  We're entering the best month of the year in southern Arizona.  February - the month of love and fantastic weather.

Papertrey Ink's Farmer's Market Floral Cards

I picked up Papertrey Ink's Farmers Market Florals stamp and die set when it was released.  I combined my purchase to also get the free add on stamp set.  I couldn't wait to use it and the ladies over at City Crafter Challenge Blog obliged by hosting a challenge All You Need Is Love.  The challenge included using hearts or the word love.  Since I could,  I used both and the florals to replicate a similar design to the inspiration that prompted my purchase in the first place.

 

I think I definitely like the red flowers I  this design, but this soft pink is pretty too.  I made a bunch of flowers and can envision some valentines in my near future.
