Simple Enclosure Cards for Valentines

I decided to make a few enclosure cards using my valentines products.  This first was die cut suing my The Greetery Heart Leaf Jumbo Posy Pocket die and then stamping with a floral and sentiment from The Greetery Sealed with a Kiss stamp set.  Simple and pretty!

My next card is also a shaped card using the Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamp and die set.  The stitched edge adds a bit of complexity, but I really like how these cards turned out.

The last card - simple design as well - using Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamp set.  These cards allow for a more CAS look and I really like the look.

Some Small Enclosure Cards Featuring Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart Stamps

Popping in with a small set of one layer 2 x 2 inch cards made using my Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamp set and a sentiment from The Greetery Love Song Sentiments stamp. That is the new Distress Oxide color Kitsch Flamingo and a Close to My Heart Cranberry ink.  Cute, simple and fun.  Tomorrow's the big day.  Hoping you are ready!

Valentines Featuring Honey Bee Stamps Coffee Cut Card Die

I had some extra die cuts from a few years ago using patterned paper and the Honey Bee Stamps Coffee Cut Card dies.  I figured they might be a good set to put together for Valentine's Day this year.  I just love how they pair with the die cut heart and stamps made using my Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamp and die set.

Lot's of cards that pair nicely.  So much fun!

An I Love You Hamster Valentine

Whoops.  I forgot to share this card I made for my daughter.  She has a dwarf hamster pet whose name is J-Knaps and whom I call Chubbie.  This makes her partial to hamsters and you might have seen her Christmas cards using Waffle Flowers Winter Hamsters stamp and die set.  I recently acquired the Clearly Besotted It's a Celebration stamp set which includes hamsters for a wide variety of celebrations.

This little guy hugging a heart was so perfect that I quickly colored and fussy cut him out to add to some stamped and die cut embellishments stamped with Distress Oxide inks using my Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamps and dies.  Guess that is one of my go-to Valentine's Day stamp sets.

So cute, but mostly to remind her we love her.

You Are Loved - A Simple One-Layer Card

I had to save the share on this simple, one-layer card until after Valentine's Day so that my hubby didn't catch on.  I created this card with my Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamps and some Distress Oxide inks.  I have really enjoyed my Distress Oxides and this pattern created is perfect.

It was extremely difficult to see, but I used some Glimmer Mist to spritz the card to create some shimmer, delicate and not too girly.

I just needed hubby to know that he is loved on the Day of Love, Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day - A Simple Card for a Son

I'm stopping by with a quick valentine I made for my son using my Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamps and dies.  I paired the die cut and stamped images on a Glimmer Misted background.

I don't know why I don't use my Glimmer Mist more often, but I am glad that I made this background as it is pretty without be too cute for a grown son to know his mama thought of him.

The day of love is fast approaching and I have at least one more valentine to make.  How about you?

Farmer's Market Valentine

Maybe you are all very excited to here that?  Either way, I have a combination of Papertrey Ink Farmer's Market Floral stamps and dies tucked behind the Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamp and die sets positioned over a Simon says Stamp This is the Life die cut frame.  I think this might be my favorite from this year's cards.

I'm going to enter this card into Papertrey Ink's Transformation Tuesday.  I made this card last year and decided to make a twist on that version this year.

Enclosure Cards for Valentine's Day

I had an idea for some enclosure cards for the store where I'm selling my handmade cards.  These simple cards were meant to have a quick creation because the price point would be low.  I used my Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamp set and Greeting Farm Tweety Pie stamp set.

I used my Polychromos colored pencils to color in these images on colored cardstock card bases.  I absolutely love how they turned out.

These last two, I didn't get a a good picture, but happened to have this poorly lit one on my phone. Such Valentine's Day fun!

Floral Valentine's Day Card

Quickly popping in to share this valentine card made creating a dry embossed frame using my WPlus9 Sunshine Layers die set on a pink cardstock card base inked with pink hink for effect.  The heart was die cut using my Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart die set stamped with my Papertrey Ink Farmer's Market Florals stamp set.

Such a lovely valentine card, don't you think?  I'm linking this up to SSS Monday challenge Love is in the Air and the Wednesday challenge Simon Says Anything Goes.

I'm also enter, for the first time, Crafter's Castle Challenge 14 Anything Goes.

Be Mine Valentine

Sharing more valentine's cards.  This time, a pink cardstock card base from the stash coupled with a white cardstock Papertrey Ink Shape Shifters Circle 2 die, Papertrey Ink's You Have My Heart die set and the stamping using my Papertrey Ink's You Have My Heart stamp set

I can't decide which one I like best, but I think they are both fantastic.  I'm linking this up to SSS Monday challenge Love is in the Air and the Wednesday challenge Simon Says Anything Goes.

Simple, One Layer Valentine's Day Cards

I am in full swing of making valentine's to sell at the local shop.  I decided I needed to make a couple of each design in order to have some variety.  I also thought that I would try to make designs that could be general love theme.

This first valentine was made using some card bases that I had in the stash - always good to use up those supplies.  There were three bases preprinted with the sentiment - using the computer - and I simply stamped in various colors of red ink with my Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart stamp set.

I think they turned out adorable - even if the heart on the left is a little bare.  Simple, but adorable.  Guess I'll use this to inspire the rest of the cards.  Stay tuned.

I entered this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge Simon Says Have a Heart

Happy Valentine's Day

A couple of girlfriends saw this post and asked if they could come one night and make some Valentine's for their work chums.  I, of course, said yes and promptly began some die cutting using my Honey Bee Coffee Cup card die and Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart die so that we would have plenty of pieces to put together.

I used various leftover pieces from paper packs that have coordinating solid and patterned paper and then we stamped the heart and valentine sentiment to coordinate with the shade or pink in the card.  Sorry for the photo quality - I had to snap these in artificial light because my friends took them home to hand out.

We find ourselves celebrating the day of love again.  I hope those in your life shower you with love and attention today!

A Farmer's Market Floral Valentine

I have so loved playing with my Papertrey Ink Farmers Market Florals stamp set and combining it with the Papertrey Ink You Have My Heart die is a perfect marriage of love inspiration.  This collage contained in a heart was one of the inspirations for me to purchase the stamp set and I can tell you that stamping these out was simple, easy and results in a final image that is more stunning than these photos allow you to see.

I super love this one combined with some seam binding ribbon.  The background kraft is die cut using my WPlus9 Sunshine Layers die, an oldie but a goodie!

On the inside is a valentine's sentiment from Papertrey Ink's January bonus stamp set.  I think I need to pull myself away from the valentine making into some other crafting.  I'm pretty sure I've crossed over into a slightly wacky excess.
