Market Fresh - A Set of Cards Featuring The Greetery Sprinkled With Kindness Stamp and Die Set

I am absolutely loving the match between this Concord and 9th Plaid background stamp and my The Greetery blooms stamped with the Budding Beauties Summer, Budding Beauties Spring, Sprinkled with Kindness and Petite Eucalyptus stamps and dies.  I also found that The Ton Easy Expressions stamps and dies also pair nicely with these stamps.

I also decided to use a small tag die and sentiment stamp from an old Papertrey Ink stamp set for these last cards.  So fun!

This past weekend was a somber marker... it has been 2 years since my beloved grandma passed.  I like to mark the passage of time with flowers on her gravesite.  I put these together to take up to her.  My grandpa (who joined me when we placed them) remarked that she would have like the (fake) heather in the bouquet.  I told him I knew that and it was the centerpiece around which the rest of the bouquet was created.  He smiled.

As time passes, the loss is less "felt", but her absence is still felt.  It is good to remember.

Scrapbooking Vintage Photos

I recently was able to select a small amount of photos from my grandmother's collection.  She always made multiple copies of every photo, so most of these photos are duplicates.  Some, like that featured in this first scrapbook page are copies.  Needless to say, I decided to preserve the photos in some scrapbook pages so that they could be viewed and preserved.  These are all my grandparents parents, siblings and children and I'm delighted to have this small selection of memories.

I used an album from the stash with came with these background 12 x 12 pages and many of the embellishments.  I paired them with some from the stash that aligned nicely as well.

Sue is my mom and I had never seen these photos so they are a particular treasure as she is very young in these photos.

So precious to collect these memories and preserve them for future generations to remember.

Using Some Card Panels from the Stash Featuring Concord and 9th Wreath Turnabout Stamp Set

I had mentioned that I had stamped a bunch of card fronts using my Concord and 9th Wreath Turnabout stamp set to coordinate with matching patterned paper.  These stamped card fronts sat in the stash since 2018 and I found them and decided I need to make cards out of them.  I challenged myself to identify different designs so that I don't have a set of 10 cards all the same style.  This is the first set I finished.  I edged the card fronts to create a look that mimics a banner and really like the layering, though it is imprecise.  I really like the color combinations that I came up with based on the patterned paper.

I'm so pleased to finally make these cards and they are delightfully beautiful.

A Slimline Birthday Card

Another card... slimline design... using the floral pieces I stamped using my The Greetery Budding Beauties Spring, Budding Beauties Summer and Birthday Blooms stamps and dies.  This is a little different for me, but I am enjoying making cards using my delightful die cuts.

Stamping Festivities and a First Set of Cards

I am enamored with the stamps and dies from The Greetery.  I can kinda resist and/or delay gratification, but I have long loved Papertrey Ink product, especially those designed by Betsy Veldman.  When The Greetery started, it took me a minute to understand and follow, but these past months their offerings have been so beautiful and charming and alluring that I've collected much of their florals and I found this past release easily as difficult to resist.  So, when the products came I decided to go on a stamping spree and this is the result.
