More Starry Flowers Notecards - White Heat Embossing

In addition to the gold heat embossing that I did with Brandy's Altenew Starry Flowers stamp set, I did some white heat embossing on Bristol cardstock as well.  I decided to try my Mission Gold watercolors, but to get a little more definition between the flowers and background, I watered down the paint much more.  I'm very pleased with how these turned out!

So grateful for a good friend who shares craft supplies! I got a few pretty cards from the generosity!

Hello Notecards with Gold Embossing

It's been a minute since I gold heat embossed onto Bristol cardstock using Brandy's Altenew Starry Flowers stamp set.  I didn't exactly know what I intended to do with the card fronts, but I knew I wanted to try to make something with the products.

Today I'm sharing the cards I made using my mission gold watercolors.  I kept the water to a minimum because Bristol won't tolerate a lot of water, but it works with a little bit of water and these  cards turned out to be soft and pretty because I did resist using lots of water

Simple cards, but oh so pretty.  Wishing everyone a happy leap day!  Do something special with your extra day this year!

From My Hands to Your Heart - More Altenew Starry Flowers

I had a few more of the Altenew Starry Flowers that I stamped using Brandy's stamp set.  In these cards, I decided to rotate them on the side and use a different sentiment for a slightly different look.

I'm surprised how much I like this last one, purple on kraft paper.  So much fun to create, so pretty to give out.

I'm entering this card into the SSS Monday Challenge S is For.... since S is for Starry Flowers.

You're Amazing - Altenew Starry Flowers

I said I was going to do something new and so I turned to these images I stamped using Brandy's Altenew Starry Flowers stamp set onto Bristol cardstock.  Bristol just loves the Zig Clean Color Real Brush marker and these cards are no different. Instead of a watercolor use of these markers, I used a brush stroke technique which left lots of color in the flowers.  I couldn't be more pleased with how these cards turned out and for a change, the yellow one is my favorite.

The backgrounds were made using my Altenew Rustic Linen stamp set.  It makes a textured background for the flowers and some color that adds a striking balance.  Plus, now I look at it I think this purple one might be my favorite.  In the end, I'm pretty sure that I can't decide which is my favorite!  My favorite must have been coloring the images and making the cards.
