A Floral Thank You!
Brandy has been a bit prolific lately and she, once again, shared some cards she made. Today, I'm sharing some pictures of cards made using her Polychromos and Prima colored pencils on black cardstock. Brandy stamped the Studio Katia Blooming Bunch stamp onto the cardstock using Versamark ink - just enough to see the lines in the image for coloring. Then, using several different colored pencils for each, created the shading in the petals and a white colored pencil to create the accents.
A gold embossed sentiment on vellum is a great finish with this image - we've both used it to great result. Since the vellum didn't want to adhere to the cardstock and colored image, Brandy simply wrapped it around to the backside and adhered it to a black, diagonally striped card base from the stash.
Oooooh, didn't these turn out fantastic! She's sent a few more photos of some similar card designs. I'm going to try to get those photos edited and posted in the coming days.
I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp's Monday Challenge: In the Garden because we could hope that these beauties might be in our garden.
Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge : Simon Says Anything Goes
Word Art Wednesday's Challenge #324/325 - Anything Goes
Happy crafting!
