Pretty Pink Party

I am sharing with you some party favors/decoartions that Brandy made last fall.  I am woefully behind in sharing photos as I found a bunch stashed in the digital files.  I'm hoping to get these photos edited and shared with you in the coming days.

Brandy used some printed acetate with coordinating bright cardstock papers and her We R Memory Keepers Pinwheel Punch Board to make these pinwheels.  She also used their Pinwheel Attachment Kits to finish these pinwheels.  The punch board does most of the work for you, though there is a bit of fussing with attaching everything together to create the final pinwheel.

However, don't they look bright and festive in a colored vase for the party?!?

Of course, the birthday girl's present needed one of these pinwheels as a decoration.  Paired here with a fantastic wrapping paper, the colors create a bright look that is certain to please any young lady on her big day!

Lastly, Brandy used her Cricut to cut these butterflies, gluing two together to a toothpick to create beautiful butterfly cake topper.  Tell me that this isn't a wonderful finish to a lovely cupcake and fabulous decorations for a party.  We hope that this inspired you.  Decorations don't have to be costly or time consuming to be pretty!

I'm linking this up over at the City Crafter Challenge blog for their challenge - Fantastic Plastic since Brandy used acetate in her project.  Come see the wonderful projects folks have made.

I'm also linking this up with the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp's Monday Challenge : Ray of Sunshine since I think this very much looks toward summer!
