A Winter Anemone Framed Birthday Card
Arizona typically doesn't have much winter. This year has been colder and more rainy than most. We were complaining last week when the temperature was around 45 degrees - chilly!
I did want to give a try at using my Honey Bee Stamps Winter Anemone stamp set. I stamped with black ink onto watercolor paper and colored with my Mission Gold watercolor paints. These images are simple to color and the stamp set does most of the work. I was re-inking my black ink and splattered the card front with black specs. I added to the front in order to hide my mistake. I think I over did it on one of the cards, but otherwise am pleased with how these turned out.
In the end, the gold sequins were able to detract a little from the overly enthusiastic black splatters. I love how these turned out.

A Delicate Orchid Thank You Card Set
Brandy has been a busy girl again. This time using her Heartfelt Creations Orchid stamps and dies along with an assortment of supporting stamps - background stamp from JustRite Script background stamp, some Spellbinders dies and a few sequins paired with some gold foiling/embossed edges on a navy cardstock base.
This second card is a black cardstock base with silver foiling/embossing. I saw these in person and can plainly state that the dimension and beauty couldn't be captured in a still photo. These cards are enchantingly delightful. Hip, Hip Hooray!

A Card for the Loss of a Dear Pet
My family has been through a series of extremely unfortunate events in the recent past. Sadly to say, the loss of my Uncle's dog, Barney, is not the worst event in the past month, but it is noteworthy. We we lose one of our faithful friends, there is always a hole in our heart.
I couldn't let the moment pass without some sentiment - a heartfelt card to let him know we miss Barney and send our thoughts to him.
I created this simple design to capture our thoughts using Divinity Designs Paw Prints stamp set. I stamped in brown inks onto kraft cardstock, cutting out the front frame using my stitched rectangles dies.
On the inside, something to let him know our sorrow for the loss of his buddy which I added some kind words of support and love.

Happy Valentine's Day!
I get the pleasure of sharing these cards with you on Valentine's Day. Brandy made them with an inlaid die cutting technique - mixing and matching the die cut pieces from these shaped frame die cuts.
The frame die is a retired Papertrey Ink and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's XO Skinny Mini mini-stamp set. How cute are these?
Hoping your Valentine's Day is special!
I'm entering these cards into Papertrey Ink's Win It Wednesday where the challenge is Favorite Cardstock Challenge to make the same card with two different cardstock colors. Definitely a good take on the challenge.

Desk Calendars on an Easel
Brandy had picked up a set of the Taylored Expressions Mini Tear Off Calendars. They are only available for a short time, but what she was able to do with these is inspiring. The desk calendar was simple to assembly, using a kraft cardstock base, covered with paper stamped using Concord and 9th Plaid background stamp and decorated with die cut flowers using Spellbinders April 2018 small die of the month set.
Brandy also die cut an easel to stand the calendar on out of kraft cardstock. The results are fantastic.
So colorful and lovely - a delightful project. Plus, the green one in the center is mine!
