Graduation Card Featuring Taylored Expressions Argyle Stamp, Stencil and Dies

Of course, 'tis the season for graduations.  My kids are now out of college and so the number of kids I know is dwindling, but there are a few of these young people that I get the pleasure of celebrating.  This card was made for a friend's son who graduated from the same high school as my kids.  A high school themed color scheme seemed perfect and using the Taylored Expressions Argyle Stamp, Stencil and Dies was a great combination.  The sentiment is a combination of Papertrey Ink Congratulations mini-stamp and die and The Greetery Alphabuds dies.

Simple and effective!

Congratulations to the grad and Happy Fourth of July!

Father's Day Cards Featuring Taylored Expressions Argyle Stamp, Stencil and Dies

I just loved the Taylored Expressions release last month for Father's Day and I picked up the Taylored Expressions Argyle Stamp, Stencil and Dies.  I couldn't resist a set of cards made with masculine colors and utilizing my The Greetery AlphaBuds dies.  I kept the design simple and utilized a bit of vellum, the perfect offset for the busy background which keeps the argyle front and center.

So fun!  I'm ready for Father's Day!

Mother's Day Card Featuring Taylored Expressions Picked Posies

I had so much fun coloring these pretty picked posies stamped with Taylored Expressions Picked Posies stamps.  I stamped onto white cardstock and colored using my Inktense watercolor pencils.  The results were so vibrant... it makes me wonder why I don't use these pencils more often.  Ultimately, I fussy cut the florals out .  The backgrounds were made by white heat embossing the same florals in the corners.  The MOM sentiment was die cut using my The Greetery Alphabuds dies.  Simple and pretty.

I decided a quick little stamped envelop would make a pretty match.  These two cards will also go to the store for sale and brighten someone's Mother's Day celebration.

A Special Graduation Card Featuring Taylored Expressions Butterfly Wishes Stamps and Dies

Today is a momentous occasion.  My baby girl graduates with a BS degree and two minors from Northern Arizona University.  She has stayed focused and dedicated and was able to complete her degree in four years.  We're so proud of her and look forward to a Zoom virtual graduation party later today.  I could miss the opportunity to make a card.  She picked up her present earlier this month from the bookstore, so the only surprise from her parents is this pretty card made in her favorite color, pink.  The background and butterflies were made using my Taylored Expressions Butterfly Wishes stamps, stencils and dies from the April Card Kit.

I even embellished the envelope using my The Greetery Alphabuds stamps.  Congratulations, Katie Lynn.  We're so proud of you!

Hello There Sunshine!

ETA:  At Pamela's kind request, I've edited this post to add captions on the photos with the Distress Oxide inks used.  I didn't write down the colors and so I am guessing from my recollections.  Forgive me an inaccurate or incomplete descriptions.

Crushed Olive, Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Wild Honey, Tumbled Glass

I am ever so delighted with my latest The Greetery purchase.  This set of cards was made out of a plethora of bits I stamped during a frenzied, quarantine induced stamp session one weekend.  Now I'm left trying to use up those pieces so that they don't sit like an unwanted toy three days after Christmas.  Use them I did...

Mowed Lawn, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey, Tumbled Glass

Crushed Olive, Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass

Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, Wild Honey, Spun Sugar (stamped multiple times)

Mowed Lawn, Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Wild Honey, Spun Sugar

Peeled Paint (I think?!), Spun Sugar, Festive Berries, Shaded Lilac, Wild Honey

Mowed Lawn, Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Wild Honey, Tumbled Glass

Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, Spun Sugar, Wild Honey
I'm so pleased with how these cards turned out.  The inks are all Distress Oxide inks and the sentiment are stamped with my WPlus9 Hand Lettered Hello which I then fussy cut out.  The backgrounds are stamped using my The Greetery Print Shop Fresh Floral stamp and stencil and the tiny flowers were created using my The Greetery Alphabuds stamps and dies.   The card base and the sentiment strip were all ink blended with Distress Oxides as well.  All in all, a lot of crafty fun!

Another Mother's Day Card - Simple with Beautiful Greetery Florals

I so loved The Greetery stamps and dies that I have purchased.  I had mentioned on Instagram that I had a massive stamping session with multiples of these floral and Alphabuds beauties.  So they are sitting there staring at me and I couldn't help but put them together as a card.  Simple and lovely, the images on this card are from the Alphabuds stamps and dies and the Sealed with a Kiss stamps and dies.  The background "fence" is an old Heartfelt Creations die which created the best backdrop for my floral pretties.

Alphabuds - The Greetery Stamps and Dies Making a Stamp Set

I wanted to do something nice for my friends during this very unusual time.  We can't get together so I thought I'd use my new The Greetery Alphabuds stamp and die set along with my The Greetery Budding Beauties Spring stamp and die set and a classic Prickly Pear Mini Butterflies stamp and die set.  All that stamping resulted in piles of beautiful die cut images.  The cherry blossoms were a perfect accent to the patterned paper card bases from the stash and paired with the Alphabuds like they were meant to.

Between family and friends, I ended up with quite a pile.  A good bit of crafty time during this time of isolation (I haven't been out of the house for three weeks as my husband and son have been re-supplying the house) which helps keep me grounded and focused for the working at home.  Plus, I was able to write handwritten notes to my family and friends to brighten their weeks as they, too, stay home.
