Father's Day Cards Featuring Scraps of Love Cactus Coffee Stamp Set

I had some of the images from Scraps of Love Cactus Coffee stamp set in the stash that I had previously colored.  I ended up putting them together with some patterned paper and a heat embossed sentiment (to create that metallic "plate").  I like the black lines better than the white heat embossed, but they are both pleasing uses to these bits that were leftover from another project.  

 

Getting Advice From a Cactus - A Notecard Set

I had some cacti stamped and colored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers which I had previously fussy cut out.  Why would these sit in the stash?  I couldn't answer that so I made these watercolored card fronts to finish and make cards.  I'm so pleased with the finish!

The cacti are stamped using my Scraps of Love Coffee with a Cactus stamp set and this sentiment is from the Scraps of Love Advice from a Cactus stamp set.

More Arizona Inspired Notecards

This is the second set of these cards made using my Scraps of Love Cactus Coffee stamp set.  This business is a local scrapbook/paper store in Arizona that also makes a few stamp sets with their unique designs which embody our Arizona style and culture.  I've had my stamp set for quite a while.  So glad to have finally used them and to such effect!

I can't decide which is my favorite.  The images were colored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and the backgrounds created using my Mission Gold watercolors.  The sentiment was stamped in brown Archival Ink and clear, heat embossed. 

Arizona Inspired Notecards

I've had this Scraps of Love Cactus Coffee stamp set for a while.  Why I didn't use it before now, can't really say.  These cards turned out to be perfect to my vision.  I'm so pleased with the color schemes, which I varied using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.  The backgrounds were done with my Mission Gold watercolors and the sentiment was stamped in brown Archival Ink and clear heat embossed to make it pop.

Such a fun set of cards to make.  I have a few more pieces on the work bench.  I've decided to color them slightly differently and we'll see if they turn out as well.
