A Mini-Album Kit

During our Play All Day, Brandy finished this mini-album which was an Embellish It kit.  The colors and embellishments are so adorable I couldn't help but share with you here.

The pinstriped ribbon is a perfect accent to the mint and pink color scheme.  So pretty.

Vintage Mini-Album

Brandy has totally outdone herself again.  This card was made to go with this mini-album as a set.  The card is so simply, elegant and pretty!  The delicate nature of that silver die cut butterfly and and sparkly shaker in the inside create the perfect focal point on the card front.

Part of the card charm is how well it goes with this beautiful mini-album.  The flowers on the front cover were die cut using the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose dies and shaped by Brandy to perfection.  The silver die cut butterflies on the front of the album float over the page, creating movement and interest.

Each page is lovingly decorated with a combination of patterned papers, tags, embellishments covered in bling.

The tulle toppers to the tags are a perfect accent, adding texture and a light touch of color.

Brandy enjoys the butterfly and this album had so many technical details crammed inside.  The grey butterflies here as solid, but still give a strong sense of delicate and fluttering.  It is the perfect match for this patterned paper set.

These tags were removed just to show how they look together.  They can be used to journal or to add additional pictures.  It's a perfect accent piece.

The back page for the album is always accented with this waterfall page. So beautiful, it is a visual splendor.  Whew - that's a lot of picture, but so worth the trip. Thanks for sticking with me for the whole bit.

Another Precious Mini-Album

I have the pleasure of showing you another of Brandy's mini-albums.  The paper selection this time simply made the card and there is no way these pictures can capture the colorful beauty of each page, but I hope you grab a cup of something warm and flip through these lovely pages of a mini-album she created to give away.

The tag toppers are always a treat, but how much do you love the knob on the front page?

The paperclip embellishment really fits the style of the album - a nice texture with all the visual texture of the patterned paper on this page.

Most of the embellishments are adhered in a way to allow the photos to be slipped behind them on the page - though you could aways just add a smaller picture too.

Black bling that looks like it was made for the page.  So adorable!

This album was made for a friend who will be giving it to his mom as a gift.  I think she'll love the sentiments throughout.

Loving the banner, but how this page flows is also very beautiful.

Of course there is a waterfall album at the back to house a plethora of photos and journaling.  Such a nice touch to a beautiful album.  I continue to be amazed at the talent in my bestie's fingertips.

I couldn't begin to describe all the embellishments and treatments on each page.  Feel free to leave a comment if you have questions.  I'd be glad to pass it on to Brandy.  We're committed to passing on that which is contagiously crafty!

A Lovely Gift - Handemade Mini Album

Front Inside Cover
I am immensely pleased to bring you another Brandy creation today.  She made this mini-album for a friend to give to his grandma.  No way to talk through all the crafty goodness in this book, but I'll try to give a few important details.  Feel free to grab something soothing to drink and flip through the photos.  It is worth it to zoom in on a couple of these lovely pages to really get a picture of the variety of embellishments that were included in this book.

On the mini-book cover, Brandy printed the title out onto white cardstock and embellished with stamped stars, carrying the background theme forward.  Those flowers are cut from patterned paper, inked on the edges with Distress Ink and shaped using this technique.
Lots of pockets to add photos and tags tucked inside to place photos or journaling

Tag toppers peak out of the album
The album is made using the hidden hinge technique.  Brandy followed these two videos for inspiration:

Ginger at My Sister's Scrapper
 and
Stack the Deck Mini-albums with Laura Denison

Click the links, but be warned.  These paper bag albums are addictive.  It's not called Contagiously Crafty for nothing!
Each tag is covered on one side with patterned paper from a Best of Basic Grey collection

The backside of the tags are stamped with journaling frames as a suggestion how to fill them.  Space at the top for picture, room at the bottom for writing.
The fold out sides add such beauty and a useful place for pictures

The book just isn't complete without a waterfall photo/journal book at the back

The back cover is spectacular.  The stars were made using a background die of repeative stars.  The die cut dark paper was then glued to a light background paper.  Each star was then filled with glue and glittered.  The picture doesn't exactly do the glitter justice, but I can reassure you is stunning in person.  This technique was used on both the front and back covers.

The gold handmade paper is a perfect accent for the binding.  Don't you love the chain of charms Brandy attached to the binding.  A little bit of extra care and attention in the book design.

This card was a last step in book design intended for the giver to write a special note to his grandma before giving the gift.  So precious with those Heartfelt Creations Vintage Floret flowers die cut from patterned paper and shaped as indicated previously.  Do you see the teeny, tiny butterflies?  Oh my but this is a special book.
