A Butterfly Card Set
I am just loving my Prickly Pear Mini Butterflies die. I so adored the card I made last week that I just couldn't keep myself from making a couple extra. I'm stopping in today to show you the fruits of that labor. The concept is the same, but I choose different color and pattern combinations. Do you have a favorite? I think of all the cards I made the one above is my favorite. Of course, that is true until I look at the next one- then that one is my favorite... and on and on it goes until I've looked through all six of the combinations that I made for this set.
I'll probably tie these up and give them as a gift. They will brighten someone's day. Thanks for stopping in and seeing my production line card set.

Just Because I Wanted To
I have recently purchased a couple of border dies. I haven't quite got the trick to using across the entire page, but practice makes perfect so I tried this card. Here's the details:
- All the patterned papers are from MME's The Sweetest Thing Lavendar paper pad.
- I can't remember where I picked up the border die, but it really worked here with the dark pink cardstock oposing those patterned papers.
- I used the embossing folder on half of the cardstock card.
- The sentiment comes from my Our Daily Bread Designs Ornate Border Sentiments and the frame from the Ornate Borders and Flowers dies and stamps.
It turned out to be a cute little card that I can use for any occassion. A fun experiment that inspires me to play some more. I'm still catching up on the cards made during my hiatus. I'll keep them coming.

Deepest Condolences
It's never easy to make a sympathy card and I recently had cause to send my heartfelt condolences. I created this using papers from MME's The Sweetest Thing Lavender paper pad. The design was straightforward using Fired Brick Distress Ink to stamp my ODBD's Ornate frame and cut it out with the coordinating die. The sentiment was stamped with the Fired Brick as well. All papers were edged with Fired Brick using my Ink Blending Tool. Some pearl accents finished the frame hopefully added a bit of elegance.
I also did a bit of recycling, turning this store bought notecard front into a get well card for my grandma. I stamped the Feel better frame and cut it using my ODBD Ornate borders and flowers set. After trimming the used notecard, I adhered it to my card base and attached the new sentiment. I'm noticing a smudged stamp job in this picture, but I swear to you I didn't notice this in the final product. Maybe it wasn't as obvious. I figured I'd share here so that you'd know I'm human and I mess up on occasion. By the way, I know you know that about me already. ;)
I've entered the first card in The Shabby Tea Room's Week # 208: Pretty Polka Dots. The contributors over there create such beautiful works of art. Go check them out and then join the fun.
