Happy Mother's Day Card By Brandy

I am sharing Brandy's ultimate Mother's Day card creation that she made using the Spellbinders large and small die of the month.  She's paired these delightful blooms with a die cut background, frame, word dies (don't you love that ombre look?!?!) and birdhouse dies.  This, to me, is die cut perfection!

Happy Mother's Day

I decided to glam up the packaging for my mother's gift on this Mother's Day.  I turned to my Heartfelt Creations Delicate Asters stamps and dies to create these beautiful three dimensional flowers on the card front.  They are so delicate and in pink, so pretty.  I recycled a butterfly tag from Brandy's gift to me to finish the look and tie in the kraft/gold box top.

So much fun!  I hope your celebrations are filled with joy.  Wishing you a cheerful mother's day.

Mother's Day Gift Card Holder Using the Spellbinders Small and Large Die of the Month - April

Nicole Spohr is one of my favorite influencers in the crafting industry.  She is a consummate professional salesman and designs the most delightful cards, gifts and other projects.  If you haven't  checked her out, please do so on her blog, YouTube channel and/or Instagram.

I joined the Spellbinders small and large die of the month club, just from what she was able to create using the dies.  Today, I'm sharing a gift card holder made with the dies that exactly replicates Nicole's design with only color differences and a slightly different sentiment.  I also used vellum for the tissue paper rather than  cardstock as I found it to be a bit bulky.

This will be opened by my husband's mom (with a different gift card!) Sunday.  I'm sure she'll like both.

A Retirement Party Invitation

I had mentioned earlier this week that I made decorations for a friend's retirement party using tissue paper.  I forgot to post these pictures of the invitations that I sent out.  This was a simple double sided card with this stamping on the front and the party information on the back.  I used my Papertrey Ink Year of Psalms stamp set and some ink blending with Distress Oxide inks.

I really enjoyed the ink blending using a torn edge of masking paper to separate the shoreline from the lake.  The pictures don't capture the blend of yellow and blue which created a green pasture - maybe my photo editing is off a bit.  I didn't notice until all the cards were sent out.

Super fun and a great way to celebrate a delightful person.

Here's some photos of the event.

Happy retirement, Michele!  We'll miss you (she's moving to Florida, lucky girl), but hope this party let's you know how loved you are.

Super Fun Anniversary Card

This card is so adorable.  Brandy made the card using her Spellbinders January 2019 Small Die of the Month First Crush die set.  She altered the die cuts with ink blending and arranging the images to create a unique couple as the focal point of her card.  Don't you find it wonderful?  A great die set that makes card making simple and easy!
