Etsy- Contagiously Crafty

You can read about how my best friend infected me with the paper crafting bug here.  This led to a decade long collecting of paper crafting supplies, led us to conclude we are happily "infected" and ultimately the desire to spread the "crafting disease" through this blog.

A good friend lost her precious mother recently.  I've blogged about this a couple of times.  In an effort to be helpful, I opened an Etsy shop to sell her mother's yarn stash. The yarn was originally purchased to be used in landscape weaving and there is just too much to keep and use.  Here's just a few examples:

We're hoping to find welcoming homes for these lovely, fibrous yarns.  Nothing would honor the memory of what this yarn was purchased for than to have all of it find a way into some handmade craft somewhere.  Each yarn has unique texture and weight.  Most of the yarn has been wound using a ball winder and the original labels removed. All of the yarn has been stored in a specially constructed dust-free room in a non-smoking, pet-free home.  So, here's some quick guidelines we're using during the "adoption" process.

  • Paypal and money orders are accepted for payment.  If this poses a problem, please contact me directly.  We'd hate to have payment issues come between you and your new stash.
  • In most cases, yarn should be shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment.  We encourage the anticipation of receiving your bundle of joy and work diligently to meet your needs, if possible.
  • Yarn color has natural variation and computer display monitors can vary the picture color slightly.  Please make purchase decisions in light of these considerations.  Even so, if you are dissatisfied with your yarn stash, contact me directly and we can arrange a refund of the purchase price (less actual shipping costs).
You can click here to visit my Etsy shop.  If you are looking for a particular color and/or style of yarn or fiber, please do not hesitate to email me directly.  There are something like ten (count them 10!) boxes of yarn that I am trying to find homes for.  See you there.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Isn't it fun to encourage one another, even from a distance?
